A BIG part of our photography is in Studio Commercial Photography, and we do this for a very varied array of customers, one day we could be shooting gift baskets or scooters and the next day (or in some cases the same day) it might be new biscuit lines or even bags of poo, cow manure that is! Commercial photography done in the studio lets us totally control the lighting and product placement, in a lot of cases this is deep etched which sees the shadows and the background removed from the images in post production (and on camera) – our customers have very specific requirements and these can differ from client to client, plus some products can be very difficult to photograph – like shiny or stainless steel products, so the studio lets us control all of the conditions, where is outdoors you are somewhat at the mercy of the available light. Thats not to say we don’t shot them outdoors as well, just when required. WOW we are having so much fun with the Pets coming into our Forest Lake Photography Studio. This Christmas we decided to run some Pet Christmas Photos and the response has been fantastic, we weren’t sure what to expect, and whilst we’ve photographed many pets they’ve always been outdoors. Having the dogs, cats and birds (yes we had a 20 year old Cockatiel in today!) come to the our Studio at the Forest Lake Shopping Centre has been the best idea yet! We’ve had the studio setup with the Black background with both plain and Christmas scenes. Plus the Christmas Tree is looking splendid for the food collection we are doing for the RSPCA. We still have some spots before Christmas open, plus we’ll next Year be offering our specialist pet photography Full Time. Many will know that we have just opened a brand new Photography Studio in the Forest Lake Shopping Centre Professional Suites, and over the Easter break we spent 3 days painting the new photography studio, so to kick it off we then photographed the most dirtiest product you could do, short of dirt!………..Mulch!
