The Winter Weekend Photography Retreat will see you experience the best hands on photography training (and we mean fun training!) you will ever experience.  The two days and two nights (or one night for those busy people) will see you learn so much about your camera you'll be left wondering why did I wait so long to learn this!

Not only will you experience the sensation of taking great photos you will also have the opportunity to learn the best post production tips and tricks in Photoshop and Lightroom and its all hands on!

To Top this all off we will be running a number of competitions over the course of the Retreat

Here are a few images from our past Winter Weekend Retreats

 There are Two Options - the full two night two day experience or the one night two day experience.

THE FULL Experience starts on Friday evening where we meet at the Lodge in the late afternoon, once settled in we will do an introduction to the weekend, YOU WILL HAVE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO LINDA & DARIN, you will set off outdoors to photograph the amazing sky/sunset/stars all with complete tuition.  When you want you can head inside where again there will be tuition on post processing the images you have just taken.  It will be a fairly relaxed evening with the log fire burning.

EARLY Saturday we will head out for a Sunrise Photo Shoot over the Fassifern Valley from the Cunningham's Gap lookout, after this we will head back to the Lodge for Breakfast, Coffee or Hot Chocolate.

The two day one night participants will arrive around 9am today

Before lunch we will head out for some macro or close up photography in and around the lodge, and after a scrummy lunch you will spend an hour or two doing some post production, again on your own photos and with heaps of tuition.

In the afternoon we will head in convoy to Lake Moogerah for an amazing Sunset, as well as some fantastic painting with light as well as the obligatory night-time "sparks" photography.  It will be pretty cold so you will need to rug up warm.

Heading back to the Lodge for dinner and the log fire we will work into the night on post producing your photos, and for those that want to you can undertake some more star photography.

On Sunday, for those that are keen you will head out for the Sunrise Photography session once again.  After a very good breakfast with coffee and hot chocolate you'll have more opportunities to shoot the local flora and fauna around the lodge, plus more landscapes its spectacular.  You will also have time to spend learning all about HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography, and if time permits some trick photography like Multiplicity.

The cost is, for the FULL EXPERIENCE being the two night two-day retreat, which includes all the hands on experience you can handle, the exclusive access with Linda and Darin, running hot chocolate and marshmallows, all meals and two nights twin share accommodation for $597

For the One Night Two day experience the cost is $457 you get all the above but not Friday night.
